DC Metro Flag is the only NFL Youth Flag Football program in the DMV. As an affiliate of NFL Flag Football, DC Metro Flag is able to provide its players with NFL team replica jerseys and our players are eligible to compete in NFL sponsored tournaments and events locally, regionally, and nationally.

Mike has coached girls flag football and girls basketball teams for well over a decade. Mike is the founder of the Virginia Hurricanes Girls Flag Football Club, which runs travel flag football teams for girls ages 8-16 that compete in local, regional, and national tournaments. The Hurricanes have won three NFL Flag Girls National Championships.

In January 2021, the Virginia Hurricanes 10U, 12U, and 14U girls teams competed in the NFL Flag Bowl in Florida. The Hurricanes teams displayed a dominant performance at the 2021 NFL Flag Bowl by winning 15 games and losing just 2 games, and the 12U team won the National Championship! Mike is also the founder of the Virginia Hurricanes Girls Basketball Club, which runs basketball teams from grades 3 through highschool.

Jonathan is the Founder and President of Hoop Education, the premier facilitator of year-round youth basketball and sports programs in the Washington, DC area. Hoop Education is a safe and affordable youth development organization that provides after-school sports camps and clinics for children, ages 5-13. Since 2007, Jonathan has been the Girls' Varsity Head Coach for St. John's College High School. Under his leadership, the Lady Cadets have become a regional and nationally-recognized program. Numerous alumni have gone on to play collegiately following a successful experience with Coach Scribner and his staff. St. John's won (five??) Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Regular Season and Tournament championships. In addition, the Lady Cadets have won the DC City Title [five??] times. Coach Scribner was named WCAC Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2013 and the USA Today Coach of the Year for Washington, DC in 2014.
